Ganesh Himal Camping Trek

Ganesh Himal Trek can be started by two ways. This lies western part of Kathmandu and the road goes along with Trishuli River. In this trek trekker visits Old royal palace of late King Prithivi Narayan Shah who firstly has ruling at Nuwakot. Trishuli is a small town which names on the name of Trishuli River.

On the way of trekking trail trekker visits traditional and cultural villages with different castes. Those are as Tamang, Gurung, Brahmin villages and life style of them. Borang is the different kind than other village and local people of borang still can speak their own language.

In this trek other pleasant part is one can see the nice view of Mt. Annapurna, Mt. Manaslu and other many more. Then the route follows the Budi Gandaki River to Arughat Bazaar. From Arughat Bazaar there is pass going to Manasulu . The ending point of the trek would also be the historical palace of Gorkha Darbar. Then drive back to Kathmandu , pokhara or Chitwan national park .

Itinerary of Ganesh Trek

Day 1: Arrive in Kathmandu Airport and drive Hotel. 
Day 2: Sightseeing around Kathmandu 
Day 3: Kathmandu to Betrawati by bus. Overnight Camp. 
Day 4: Betrawati to Deurali. Overnight Camp. 
Day 5: Deurali to Kintang. Overnight Camp. 
Day 6: Kintang to Jharlang Village. Overnight Camp. 
Day 7: Jharlang Village to Borlang Village. Overnight Camp. 
Day 8: Borlang Village to Khading Kharka. 
Day 9: Khanding Kharka to (Labu pass) Labu Phedi. 
Day 10: Labu Kharka to Arughat Bazaar.  
Day 11: Arughat Bazaar rest Day. 
Day 12: Arughat to Khanchock. 
Day 13: Khanchock to Gorkha Bazaar. 
Day 14: Gorkha Bazaar to Kathmandu. 
Day 15: Drive to Hotel.
